When a local girl goes missing, an unrest settles in the small town of Verdar. As an official  of the Empire, your mission is to find her.  As you discover more about her disappearance and the town's history, you realize that a chain of events is in motion that could change the face of the world as you know it. Decide your specialty - 16 physical, perception, mental and social skills are at your disposal. You choose what you level up. Choose your personality traits which will alter the dialogue choices you have, and make each playthrough special. Want to be an evil jester with an unusual interest for books? Or an honourable coward obsessed with women? You choose.

DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE LOCALS

Every NPC has an Affinity score, which determines their action towards you. Hatred, rivalry or friendship and love. Even a romance. Everything is on the cards, just remember - you cant please them all.  Every character reacts to your actions.

DECIDE THE FATE

Your choices will decide the fate of many. Will you preserve order at all cost or will you let the chaos reign and see the world burning. Or will you just leave and never look back? Choice is yours.

NOTE FROM DEVELOPER:

Hi everyone,

firstly I have to point out this is a tech demo, pre alpha version of the game. It's really rough around the edges. There are bugs, and missing features, lots of placeholders, just one quest can be completed, etc.  Game is also not your typical RPG, there's no combat, focus is on the story, dialogue and skill checks, with some exploration.

But after 5 months of development I wanted to share what I have for now and see if somebody likes the game, mostly the setting, the storytelling, the worldbuilding and story setup in general. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, especially from people with low to average gaming setup, playing on 1920p resolution. Tell me how well the game is performing for you.

Download the game via link provided. Unzip the file, and play. Windows only. If you have any issues with downloading the game, please let me know so I can resolve the issue.

As for the future, expanded demo will be made in a month or so, which will contain some missing features (day and time progression, perk system, characters and lore screens) and more story, more traits, more characters and items.
